The buzz word in today's business world is MARKETING. However, people often ask for a simple explanation of exactly what "Marketing" is.
Well, here it is:
You're a single man, and you see a beautiful woman at a party. You go up to her and say: "I'm a great guy."
That's Direct Marketing.
You see a beautiful woman at a party. One of your friends goes up to her, points at you, and says: "He's a great guy."
That's Advertising.
You see a beautiful woman at a party. You straighten your tie, walk up to her and pour her a drink. While handing it to her, you slip her a note that says: "By the way, I'm a great guy."
